JUVADERM XC Ultra & JUVADERM XC Ultra Plus
Parentheses are a pair of signs used in a sentence to interject an explanation. If you find that you’re seeing parentheses on either side of your mouth, you’d probably looking for an explanation as well. The truth is your skin looses its elasticity over time — especially in the areas around your mouth, as natural muscle movement causes the skin’s volume to decrease and wrinkles to form.
Those marks around your mouth and other wrinkles on your face can become pronounced as years go by, causing embarrassmentand insecurity. JUVÉDERM™ injectable gel can help reverse thesigns of age and help your skin to maintain its original tautness and vigor.
A "next-generation" dermal filler, JUVÉDERM™ uses hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring chemical in human skin that hydrates and adds volume, thus smoothing out wrinkles. Because it’s a natural substance found in the skin, no allergy tests are needed before treatment can be administered. Other advantages to JUVÉDERM™ are that it’s the only dermal filler of its kind formulated to be smooth instead of granular. This means its smooth consistency causes the treatment to be longer-lasting than other fillers. Additionally, JUVÉDERM™ is the first treatment of its kind proven to be safe and effective for people of color.
Two formulas are available to meet an individual’s needs. JUVÉDERM™ Ultra provides counter and volume to wrinkles and folds while JUVÉDER™ Ultra Plus works to correct deeper wrinkles and folds on the face.
